Driving Directions to Cairns Clinic and Bristol Craniosacral Centre -in N W Bristol
Cairns Clinic is in a residential area and there is one way access on our section of Cairns Road. It is a quiet location and parking is straightforward during the day.

From Waitrose on NORTHUMBRIA DRIVE
Go RIGHT. Take 2nd left - a SLIGHT turn onto HOWARD ROAD
Then do not turn right with the road, which becomes Upper Cranbrook Rd, but bear left continuing down Howard Road taking the 3rd RIGHT onto CAIRNS ROAD.
CAIRNS CLINIC is a large light green building on the opposite right corner of the next crossroads - on corner of Russell Road and Cairns Road with the entrance in Russell Road.
A From Central Bristol via Whiteladies Road
up onto the edge of the Downs which will firstly just be on your left.Then take third left onto NORTH VIEW.
B From the North and Falcondale Road
you will have come to the Clifton Downs, flat grassy areas on either side, and at the first roundabout you turn left onto NORTH VIEW.
Then go to T junction and turn RIGHT onto NORTHUMBRIA DRIVE (near Waitrose). Immediately take a SLIGHT LEFT onto HOWARD ROAD.
Then do not turn right with the road which becomes Upper Cranbrook Rd, but bear left continuing down Howard Road taking the 3nd RIGHT onto CAIRNS ROAD.

From M5 Exit18 coming from the south west
Take the exit bearing left towards M4W/SOUTH WALES/M49/CARDIFF/NEWPORT. 0.4 miles Merge.
Take the A4 ramp towards BRISTOL & AIRPORT/SHIREHAMPTON.
Enter next roundabout and take 2nd exit onto PORTWAY.
Turn LEFT onto SYLVAN WAY once you have left the built up area. There will be 3 lanes there and you take the left hand one to turn LEFT
At the first traffic light turn RIGHT onto SHIREHAMPTON ROAD
Turn LEFT at a very small mini roundabout onto CROSS ELMS LANE which bends right and becomes PARRYS LANE. Go right up the hill to the Clifton Downs and entering first roundabout take 2nd exit onto NORTH VIEW – a street with shops in it.
Proceed to a T junction and turn right and immediately take a SLIGHT LEFT onto HOWARD
Then do not turn first right with this road which becomes Upper Cranbrook Rd but bear left with it, taking the 3nd RIGHT onto CAIRNS ROAD.

From M5 Exit 17 – from North , M4 East and Midlands
Take exit number 17, on the left towards BRISTOL (WEST)/CLIFTON/SEVERN BEACH.
Enter next roundabout and take 2nd exit onto CRIBBS CAUSEWAY. Pass through 1 roundabout.
Enter next roundabout and then another taking 1st exit onto A4018.
Basically it is about 3 miles from coming off the motorway into Bristol till you find yourself at the Downs which is grass on both sides.
[You will have travelled along WYCK BECK ROAD/ PASSAGE ROAD/ FALCONDALE ROAD]
You take a left at the first roundabout on the Downs onto NORTH VIEW – a street with shops in it.Proceed to a T junction and turn right and immediately take a SLIGHT LEFT onto HOWARD ROAD
Then do not turn first right with this road which becomes Upper Cranbrook Rd but bear left with it taking the 3nd RIGHT onto CAIRNS ROAD.

From M4 coming west
Take the M32 exit, exit number 19, for BRISTOL.
Merge onto M32.
Take exit number 3, on the left towards OTHER ROUTES.
Enter next roundabout and take 3rd exit onto LOWER ASHLEY ROAD.
LOWER ASHLEY ROAD becomes ASHLEY ROAD at a traffic light where you veer left slightly. Then on across a mini roundabout till you hit a main road at traffic lights where you should turn RIGHT onto CHELTENHAM ROAD/GLOUCESTER ROAD
After you have gone under a tall impressive Victorian viaduct
turn LEFT onto ZETLAND ROAD at the first traffic light and immediately RIGHT onto CRANBROOK ROAD.
Go along and up the hill and when you reach a traffic light turn RIGHT onto COLDHARBOUR ROAD
Turn 2nd LEFT onto HALSBURY ROAD and first RIGHT onto RUSSELL ROAD.

From Wells Road and the South
WELLS ROAD/ BATH ROAD merge just south of the river. Arriving on this road A4/ A37 Turn SLIGHT RIGHT to cross bridge into Bristol and to go round a one way system turning right till reach a roundabout.
Take 2nd exit onto TEMPLE WAY.
Go under an underpass keeping to the left and move to the next left lane to bring you through a traffic light [traffic from M32 coming in here on left]
At next roundabout take 3rd exit signed to A38 Gloucester. Here you pass under a building which is a block of flats above you.
Stay straight on this up STOKES CROFT/CHELTENHAM ROAD/GLOUCESTER ROAD. After you have gone under a tall impressive Victorian viaduct at the first traffic light turn LEFT onto ZETLAND ROAD and immediately RIGHT onto CRANBROOK ROAD.
Go along and up the hill and when you reach a traffic light turn RIGHT onto COLDHARBOUR ROAD
Turn 2nd LEFT onto HALSBURY ROAD and first RIGHT onto RUSSELL ROAD.

Buses
20, 21, 22 buses go very near to the clinic.
Ask for the Springfield Grove stop or the stop at the end of Coldhabour Road where it becomes Kellaway Avenue. Cairns Road crosses this main-ish road. Walk slightly up hill along Cairns Road at the first cross roads you will see the clinic on your left.
